Yesterday I was gifted two sturdy and unique end tables that were no longer needed by my in-laws. This is the first one:
With a little Americana DECOR Vintage chalk paint, wax, some sanding and new knobs... here it is!
As you can see, I painted it one of my absolute favorite colors (notice how it conveniently matches the color of my walls), did a little distressing, waxing and updated the hardware with two beautiful glass knobs!
One of the best things I've learned since I've started using this chalk paint - is how awesome imperfections are. Check out that crackle affect! And the little bumps and indents make the paint settle in all the right places. I was also really lucky because this table has great bones, it's very sturdy and has beautiful detailing on the front::
I love that there's this great space under the two drawers for holding small picture frames or magazines! It's cute and super functional, these aren't fake out drawers - they both run smoothly when they open and the bottom one is a little larger and great for storage!
Something else I love is that this color is like a chameleon, it can look blue, green or even grey-ish depending on
what it's next to and the lighting!
If you're in the market for a new end table let me know! I'm selling this beauty for $125 or best offer
(pick up only, please!)
Measurements: 20" wide, 16" deep, and 26x5" tall.
Wondering about the other end table I was given? That one is so awesome I can't part with it! I'm going to refinish it and put it in our family room :) Stay tuned to see it's awesomeness in the next week or so :)
