It's been months since I've had my work in an art show! I am so excited to share with you that that is all about to change in just a few weeks! My work will be on display at The Gallery at UNOS, with the opening night on July 7th [First Fridays!]. This show is a little different because I'll be showing both old and new work. Normally, I'm all about just showing whatever my brand new work is - but this time you'll get to see work from all the way back in 2013!
You'll get to see some of my old school Richmond landmark illustrations that sparked the more graphic prints that have become such a distinct characteristic of my style. Like the Altria theater illustration below:
It will be displayed between these guys:
Not only will there be a ton of Richmond illustrations to check out, but I'll also be [for the first time ever!] displaying my RVA Skyline backdrop! This is the first time it will be shown as a painting rather than a backdrop for a Photobooth! I'm pumped for you all to get a close up view of the roughly 4x7 foot painting in person :)
I'll also be sharing many of the paintings from my abstract blue series which will be for sale.
But I won't be the only artist showing my work! My paintings and illustrations will be displayed next to ceramic artist, Lee Hazelgrove. Here is one of his pieces below:
