My husband is very helpful. Thanks to his research I now have an AMAZING video camera that I'm obsessed with. Yesterday's post showed my first timelapse video created using my snazzy new device. Today I have a second preview to show you, but before I get to that, take a look at this camera!!
It's so pretty! The coolest thing is that it also takes really great pictures. Not as high quality as my Canon, but it's insanely user friendly. I never got around to learning all the complicated camera lingo, so having a camera that knows how to make a painting look the way a painting looks without me having to mess with 4,000 settings...makes me a very happy lady. So what's the model info? It's a Nikon COOLPIX P530 16.1 MP CMOS Digital Camera with 42x Zoom NIKKOR Lens and Full HD 1080p Video. You can purchase your own by clicking here. I bought mine refurbished to save some dolla bills. The craziest part of all this is how little it cost. I remember when I bought my classy Canon, it was the summer of 2009 and I dropped roughly $600. The prices of cameras have gone down SO MUCH!!
After I got my camera in the mail I gushed to Ben about how much I loved it. To which he said "Tell all your friends to marry nerds", and I have to say - it's great advice ;)
Now without further ado, here is the second little preview of my painting "The Dream". This part mainly focuses on the eyes. I'm having so much fun with this spirit's face, especially the parts where I get to blend the paint in with my fingers, it feels like I'm putting on makeup :) Let me know what you think!
