I've dreamed of hiring a professional photographer to document my work for sooo long! But I always thought I didn't deserve that luxury when I had a decent camera and a less than extravagant budget. I'd set up my self timer, attempt to make my skin tone look natural in Photoshop and hope that no one could tell that I didn't know what I was doing.
This was okay for photos of myself, but for my art...not so much. I can't tell you how many times I've heard customers and friends say over and over and over again that my art looked "so much better in person"... for someone who has been selling their work online for almost a decade - I knew I had to make a change. After receiving this gallery of images from Rebekah Brunson Studios last week - I knew I made the right choice!! There are so many times as a business owner when I feel like I should just do everything myself. I justify it by saying that I'm saving money, but in the long run this is not the case at all. There is so much to be said for knowing where your time is best spent.
I am not a photographer.
I am not a graphic designer.
I am not a web designer.
But I am an artist, and a pretty decent one when I give myself permission to be.
Thank you so much to Rebekah for showing my work in it's best light, making me feel comfortable during headshots, and genuinely caring about the art I create. Check out her work HERE.
