After recently realizing roughly 98% of you all checking out my website on your mobile device, and I've been spending... 98% of my time updating how my site looks on a desktop computer...let's just say I decided to switch things up. So today's post is just a little about the new navigation, changes that are coming soon and some things that are taking a hiatus for the time being.
One of the biggest changes I've recently made is revamping the online Shop. Before, you would see a ton of teeny tiny paintings with their prices. Now, you'll see much larger images, with the option to click for more details. This saves time so you'll only be reading extra info about the paintings you really want to purchase, plus it looks prettier :) You'll notice the "Prints" shop isn't quite there yet, but I promise it will be very soon!
Above is my OLD About page. A little all over the place. Now it's cleaned up, lists all my exhibitions & features in one place, and includes my Artist Statement, and a little Bio. Click HERE to see what I'm talking about.
Now for the changes made was to the "Art" page - Before, you would have seen three categories of paintings : "Abstract, Figurative & Landscape". Now I have a slideshow to show my recent work, and options for broader categories including "Exhibitions", "Purchase Prints" and "Murals".
And now for the hiatus info - there is no longer the mile long "Accents" page. That has been narrowed down into the "Murals" one. Since I no longer reupholster furniture, this will mostly feature recent murals, furniture painting posts from the blog, and the occasional custom decor piece.
If you're a frequent visitor, you'll notice some other minor changes, but nothing drastic. Just some simplifying. If you ever have a question about any of the services I provide, please don't hesitate to reach out! :)
