I'm so excited to share a new furniture makeover post with you! It's been forever since I've shared a DIY, and I think you're going to really love this! I used DecoArt's new Matte Metallics to give this simple wooden side table a fresh and modern twist. I'd love to hear what you think of the finished product! Supplies:
This is a really simple DIY, all you have to do is decide how much you want to paint, and using painter's tape, block off the areas that you want to keep as-is! For larger areas, use the 1” angle brush. Coat Matte Metallics in “Charcoal”. Remove tape and allow for the paint to dry fully before beginning step 3. *Tip* Removing tape while paint is just slightly damp will give you beautifully crisp lines! Tape off additional spaces. Now it’s time to use the Matte Metallics in “Soft Silver” using your detail brush. Remove tape. *Tip* You may need to add additional coats of the Soft Silver, especially if you are painting on a dark surface like the table pictured. I used quite a few since my surface was so dark! Be patient between coats and allow paint to dry fully! What do you think? Would you use DecoArt Matte Metallics on a piece in your home?
