Remember this thing?
Back in May I purchased this chair and over the course of a weekend I destroyed it (and our kitchen) and got about 85% of the way done. Then it sat in my studio until about a week ago, when I brought it downstairs and stuck it in our family room and stared at it.
Yesterday at roughly 4pm I sat down and finished this chair and I am SO proud of the way it turned out! I painted the legs with Americana "whisper" chalk paint. I mixed white and "whisper" chalk paint to cover the maroon cushion. After it was dry I waxed it and now it feels like soft denim. I purchased piping from Jo-Ann Fabric store, sewed the same creamy colored fabric as the cushion over the piping to match and now you can't see any little staples!
