When it comes to making to-do lists, here is my pattern:
Make to-do list.
Stuff it in purse.
Lose list in purse.
Make new list.
Lose list in car.
Purse is messy.
Car is messy.
Make new list.
Well I am very sick of that pattern. So, I went where all intelligent humans go to solve their problems, Pinterest, of course! & I was also inspired by a photographer who has a blog that I follow religiously, Katelyn James. She has lots of great tips for making your own calendars and to-do lists that you can check out here. A lot of what I've read is that customizing your own to-do lists will make you actually use them consistently. We shall see if that works for me...but here's a look at my first real attempt at organization:
I think having everything in a binder is helpful too. That little notebook under my pen holder is a 17 month planner from Bed Bath and Beyond. Someday I'll make my own mini-calendar, but that day is not today. But I did make to-do lists for both household chores & for menu plans!
I made the colors match the main colors in my branding palette and I got pretty Stabilo brand pens in the same colors to make organization FUN! or at the very least, cuter.
Speaking of color palettes, take a look at my official logo and let me know what you think! It was designed by my friend and graphic designer, Sarah Mann. All I did was change the colors. I'm really excited about the way it looks, plus it matches basically everything in my studio! Thanks again, Sarah! :)
Hope everyone had a great weekend. & If anyone is interested in having a logo made, I highly recommend Sarah, she's great to work with! :)
