Last night was the opening for "An Unkindness of Ravens" - a show put on by a friend of mine, Sandhi Schimmel, in her gallery "The Art Room" in Petersburg. The show was made up of work by Virginia based artists, influenced by the work and life of Edgar Allan Poe. 10% of the opening night profits went to benefit the Poe Museum in Richmond, and the author of "Poe's Petersburg, the Raven in the Cockade City", Jeff Abugel, was there signing books and answering questions. It was a really fun night and I was so happy to be a part of it and to have two of my pieces featured!
Above is a photo of me and my original ink drawing of the Poe Museum in Richmond. This framed 8.5x11" drawing is for sale for $75 (The frame is 16x20"). Here's a detail shot:
The other piece that I had in the show was this my one-of-a-kind 8x10" print "The Tell Tale Heart". This framed print is also for sale for $75. (The frame is 16x20")

The Art Room gallery hours are Tuesday - Saturdays from 11 - 4, and they're open this Friday night - Friday for the Arts from 6 - 10 PM, and this Sunday for an Author's talk -- ghost stories in Petersburg! That event is from 3 - 5 PM. Hope you can stop by!
