Once upon a time I found a very ugly small cabinet.
I sanded it and coated it in white, in hopes that it would look beautiful.
It did not.
Next I got the assistance of the Tuckercookie and we painted it mint green. Still it didn't look right.
Then I painted it watermelon pink. It looked stupid. I made it more stupid by covering it a light grey stain. This made it very much ugly.
Finally I primed it with a coat of French white. I mixed black and metallic silver paint together and covered up all the yucky. I glazed it with another coat of metallic and gave it a new knob!
I lined the shelf with chevron shelving paper and now all it needs is a coat of polyacrylic and I'm done! What do you think?
