In case you missed Friday's post, I hinted at some exciting news regarding this painting:
Now that everything has been made official, I can announce it! I am now represented by Mott Gallery in Carytown! Which means, I'll be part of the First Annual Members' Show THIS SATURDAY NIGHT!! Opening is from 6-9pm and the show will run through February 14th. Here's the announcement from BuyRVAart.com:
The show is going to have a great variety of different style artists, including: James Halloran, Cynthia Erdahl, Thomas DuVal, Carrie Yang, Kathleen Miller, Bill Gilmore, Noah Sachs, and myself! Tomorrow I'll be hanging my work in the gallery in preparation for Saturday's opening, so I've been spending the last couple of days looking through my paintings trying to decide what should stay, what should go, and how it should be arranged:
Still narrowing things down. I would LOVE it if you all could come out Saturday night! It's supposed to be a little chilly here in Richmond, but one of the best parts about Mott Gallery is that it's a coffee shop too! So be sure to stop by and stay out of the cold :) I'm a huge fan of their hot chocolate, so grab a cup, and see some really cool art!
For more details about Mott Gallery, click HERE! They've only been open since the summer but they've done so much to integrate within the Richmond community already - besides delicious treats & coffee & great art, they do open mic nights! I'm really exciting to be part of such a great space!
