It's a rare time when I fall in love with a piece of furniture to the point that I refuse to sell it. So far it's only happened a couple times. It happened when I refinished this white oval end table, and when I beautified my Dad's old lawyer's bookcase. Unfortunately for my wallet, it's happened again. I found this gorgeous vanity table at my local Goodwill and it had a matching dresser that I was very sad to leave behind (I didn't have Ben's truck that day ;) ) Here's a photo of how it looked before I made it my favorite shade of green:
It was actually very pretty, but since I can't keep anything in it's original state - it had to change. Surprisingly it took more than a couple coats of Americana's Mint Green Chalk Paint to cover it completely. It just kept soaking up the paint over and over again.

What do you think? It feels like it may be starting to get a little busy looking in here...I'm considering moving the grey lattice patterned rug out and sticking it in the kitchen so there aren't so many prints in one space. As much as I love that lace stenciled wall, it does demand a lot of attention :) I'll keep you updated.
