Last week Ben and I made a list of all the changes we'd like to make to our house when it came to curb appeal. The first change was our mailbox. I forgot to take a before picture so I'll just describe it as...frumpy.
The original post was made of wood and falling apart, the numbers labeling our house were broken and partially missing and ants kept having parties in the mailbox.
You can see parts of the old post on the ground here.
As an anniversary gift from my parents we got a brand new white post and mailbox! We were really excited! Ben put it together right away and I painted the box with a big mint H and painted a small sign to label our house number.
We found the sign at Michaels and I painted it with chalk paint and sealed it with wax so that it could handle being outdoors.
Ben hung it with a thin white chain attached to the post.
We're both so happy with the way it turned out! :)
