Last week I showed a little project I was working on; painting shower curtain hooks that I had purchased at Ross. They were only $3.99 which is cheaper than anywhere I've seen! But, I didn't like the dark brown/bronze-y look. As always I fixed this by coating it in paint.
I tried painting right onto the flowers with my Valspar paint but it needed so many coats I decided to prime it with Rustoleum spray paint in French White first. The peach Valspar went on great after that. Plus the hooks got a little of the french white too, giving them a shabby chic/distressed look that I really like :)
It's sort of goofy how something so little can make me so excited, but seriously, isn't this so much cuter now?!? Eventually I plan on painting this bathroom a pale peach, paler than the shade in our bedroom, which will really make these cute little flowers pop!
