So here's the deal: Painting a kitchen is not nearly as scary as I thought it was going to be. I put it off for way too long! It's really just very, very time consuming. Here's how it looked before I got started:
And about 85% that time is spent doing prep work: Taping off areas, covering surfaces in stain blocker, labeling cabinets and baggies that hold all their hardware. AKA - the not-fun part.
But painting is the BEST. It feels so good to cover up that orange. Seriously, it's wonderful. Thank you so much DecoArt for making this possible!!!
I'm about halfway done!
Once I'm done, I'll do a super detailed & easy to follow DIY post with a supply list so you can fall in love with your kitchen, too! In the meantime, I'll be covered in paint, painters tape, and stainblocker. At least until tomorrow night, when VACATION STARTS!!
Like I mentioned yesterday, I'm taking a mini break from blogging to have a real full-on vacation, so I'll see ya back here on Thursday! Have a wonderful Fourth of July weekend :)
