I have had my head shots taken professionally only once before. It was very rushed at a RAWartists event in downtown Richmond. I was nervous, pretty intimidated, and my makeup had completely rubbed off while setting up my work minutes before the photos were taken. I knew I needed high quality photos of myself for my website and my printed materials so when my friend Heather became available I booked her right away!
This was one of the first photos she took of me - she did SUCH a great job capturing the natural light in my office and made me laugh so many times that my smile isn't forced a bit! I am so happy with the work she did! If you are ever looking for a professional photographer who is both kind and hilarious and who will make you feel totally comfortable during a shoot, PLEASE reach out to Heather of "Heather Michelle Photography" !
Here are some of my favorites from the shoot!
One of the coolest things about Heather is that she's an artist too, so she understands the little details that go into a piece, and she captured them so beautifully for me - like my paintbrushes and further down you'll see a great shot of my pens and paints :)
Above shows some progress from my latest mural - one that I'm creating in my studio! Many more layers to go :)
Thank you so much Heather, for making my art & work spaces look so pretty and for making me feel totally at ease while you snapped my photo! :)
