The monthly art walk is happening tonight! A full list of participating galleries, restaurants and more are listed HERE. I'm always a fan of Quirk Gallery (207 W. Broad), so I'd definitely recommend hitting them up. Mary Holland's work is currently being displayed and worth a good look. Be sure to grab a latte on your way out so to stay warm with all this windiness!

Murry DePillars was the Dean of VCU School of the Arts from 1976-95 and in that time he put VCUarts on the map while still building his own body of work. This show is extra special because it's the first original exhibition being displayed in the Black History Museum's new facility - at the historic Leigh Street Armory. This is a show I haven't had a chance to see yet, but definitely want to check out!
VMFA After Dark
I realize I said this one the last two weeks, but Ben and I finally got to go last week and it was SO FUN! The tour was just 30 minutes long and the theme for that night was something about glitter, "All That Glitters" maybe? Regardless, our tour guide was great. She knew so much and was super enthusiastic and excited that we were there. It was a small group that toured, just about 8 people, so we got to ask questions and dive into the art a little more deeply than if it had been a larger group. Also, the fact that it was just 30 minutes meant that there was no chance of getting bored with any one piece of art that we checked out. I highly, highly recommend doing this!!
Happy Hour specials on all beverages all evening +
FREE half hour gallery tours at 7pm & 7:30pm - Tours have a different theme each week!

Annual RVA Street Art FestManchester April 22-24th
"The RVA Street Art Festival showcases amazing local and national artistic talent and revitalizes communities in need of some color and creativity.
The focus of the RVA Street Art Fest three-fold: supporting youth art education, discovering local talent, and bringing life to our beautiful city.
Watch art come to life when the RVA Street Art Festival returns April 22-24, 2016. This year, we will bring new life to the iconic Southern States Silos site, overlooking the James River and the Richmond skyline. Headquartered at the silos, the Festival will span the Manchester neighborhood, splashing color and life on historic buildings."
