I can only share an itty bitty sneak peek with you wonderful people today, but I'd like to think it's worth your time :)!
Today's decor post is all about taking a cheap, and BORING frame and making it classy and chic with just a few coats of paint! Paint source? You guessed it! DecoArt, as usual :) But this time - I used their BRAND NEW LINE OF PAINT! It's called "Extreme Sheen" and it's exactly how it sounds. This stuff couldn't be any more shiny if it tried.
I started with a cheap frame from A.C. Moore, then removed the glass, and backing and got to work painting it with the DecoArt Extreme Sheen paint in Silver. Next I ditched the boring matte that came with the frame. Then, I put in a beautifully thick white matte with a cut out that is just unique enough to catch your eye.
Popped in my latest RVA landmark illustration - The Science Museum of Virgina - and voila! It is complete!
Like I said, this is all I can share for now. Stay tuned, because soon I'll share the FULL reveal (I did this with three frames + got to stage it with the prettiest decor and drinks and fruit to make the pictures extra pretty :)!
What are you all working on this week? I'd love to hear all about it! Comment below!!
