One of my favorite things about being an artist is seeing where my amazing clients display the art I create for them. During the process of creating custom work, I tend to get pretty attached to the pieces I create. Keep in mind, most custom pieces take anywhere from two weeks to two months, so while I realize this may sound mildly insane, I get used to having the art around and get a little sad to see it go! So, when a former customer of mine sends me a picture of where they've hung the finished piece, it gives me a happy sense of closure knowing that my art is being loved in it's new home! Which leads me to the fun reason for today's post! I recently received a blush-worthy review from one of my favorite couples, regarding the custom work I made for them. They attached photos of where they hung the paintings and it brings my heart so much joy to see them!! Also - their bedroom is SO PRETTY! Check it out below: I'll now hand it over to Gail & Bill, "Mandy is a talented artist and consummate professional, and working with her is a delight! We wanted artwork for our bedroom and didn’t have a concept of exactly what it should be. Mandy listened to us and came up with several mock-ups for us to critique. She worked hard to achieve just the right look. We love the abstract that is now the focal point of our master bedroom. It pulls the colors of the room together in a striking work of art. Our hallway has also benefitted from Mandy’s talents. Her painting lights up a what was formerly an unremarkable space in our home! We look forward to working with Mandy again in the future and highly recommend her work and talents to others." Aren't they the sweetest?! :) If you're considering having a painting commissioned by yours truly, I highly recommend checking out the testimonials section of my site! It'll also give you a chance to grab some inspiration from some seriously beautiful homes :)
