Ben and I have been in Boston visiting my family for the last few days and it's been great seeing everyone :)
Like I mentioned a few days ago, we got to celebrate my grandparents' 60th anniversary. Then we went to White Horse to spend time with my dad's side of the family.
My view from the cottage we stayed in, pretty gorgeous huh?
One of the days we were here I got a chance to work a little on a sketch that you'll be seeing soon!
My takeaway: Boston summer weather is gorgeous, lacking in humidity but as a result not everywhere has air conditioning. The beach cottage was very toasty. The food here is glorious because Bostonians wouldn't have it any other way. I'm not a big seafood person, but last night I had the greatest salmon that has ever existed. I love my family but I don't love the traffic. The drivers here are legitimately insane. 90% of the names end in ie or y. Johnny, Stevie, Tommy, Jimmy, Sandy, Mandy, etc etc. I've been making this trip with my parents since we moved from Boston to Virginia when I was 18 months old, excluding last summer when Ben and I got married. It was great to be back and to get to share this with him :) Go Red Sox!
