Yesterday I took a different approach to my furniture than normal. I painted a nightstand glossy instead of matte! If you look through any of my MandyFitzFurniture posts, you'll notice that just about everything I've done is free of any kind of shine.
Here's a shot of the cute little creamy-white nighstand before it's makeover:
Then after a couple coats of Americana gray chalk paint & Americana wax:
See how the front is reflective & shiny? That's totally out of character for me! I normally don't like shiny things. But for this little table, I think it works! What do you think? Do you prefer shiny or matte furniture?
