One of my latest furniture makeovers made possible by Americana DECOR Chalky Finish Paint!
I started by cleaning the surface with clorox wipes. Then I coated it with the stainblocker. Once that dried I painted the chairs first with two coats of "Yesteryear".
Next I painted the table top. Since this was a custom piece for a kid's play area- I wanted it to be fun and a little different. So I gave it a sort of pinwheel effect with Everlasting, Yesteryear and Serene.
And here's the finished product!
The coolest thing about this makeover, is that it was Ben's and his sisters' when they were little! My in-laws commissioned me to refinish it so that when their (insanely adorable) grand-kids come over, they'll have their own furniture set to play with :)
Thank you to DecoArt for making this makeover super simple with your wonderful paint!!
