If you click here, you can see what Ben and my bedroom looked like the first time I thought it was done :) Lots of peach and lots of gray. I remember when I was painting the walls thinking, "this peach is a lot darker than I thought it would be...but I've already done one wall, might as well do the other two". Well I should have stopped right then, because since the painting was done I've felt like we lived in a cantaloupe. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE peach. I love feminine, lacey everything, I love girly. But even for me, this was pushing it. I was happy with the way the peach bubbles mural turned out, but given the cantaloupe walls, I finally decided on Tuesday that I was done not being satisfied with our room!
Whenever I'm not quite sure how to move forward in a space, I consult my trusty Pinterest app and start searching. Here's a couple of the bedroom photos that inspired me:
So I grabbed my paint and I got to work! Already I can tell this is going to look so much better, plus it is soooo much fun, it's like working on a GIANT abstract! Well it's not LIKE that, it IS that. And I love it! I'll keep you updated as I get further along.
I'll also be painting the other three walls a new color. Basically everything will be different and I'm really excited about that :)
