With only about two weeks to go before baby Bo's due date, I am pumped to share with you his nursery reveal!! I've been sharing sneak peeks for a while now, with the changing table DIY makeover, and refinishing the hand me down crib and today I'm so happy that I can finally share the whole thing!! But first I have some business to take care of!
My due date is officially March 23rd, but Ben and I both have a feeling this guy might show up a bit early! If that's the case, I thought now would be as good of a time as any to share my maternity leave plans so you don't think I just dropped off the face of the earth! I've been saving up for a while now and I am proud to share that I'll be taking six full weeks off when Bo arrives. However, being a one-woman-show means that in all honesty, I won't have a "normal" maternity leave simply because I don't have coworkers or employees to pick up the slack. So what do I mean when I say I'm taking six weeks off? Here's a simplified list of what is going to change (temporarily) and what will stay the same! Feel free to email or comment below if you have any specific questions!
What can you count on?
I really appreciate your patience and understanding in advance - this is new territory for me in so many ways. This is Ben and my first experience with parenthood, and my first experience with taking a purposeful step back from my business for such a long period of time. I'm excited, slightly terrified, but mostly grateful for this time and for the support you've shown us already. Once we get the swing of things, I'll be back and ready for new shows, new art and DIYs! Please don't hesitate to reach out through email if you have any questions or concerns!
And now - back to the cuteness! Take a look at Bo's completed nursery (thanks to our amazingly generously family and friends - also, be sure to check out my recent Harry Potter themed baby shower post!!!) and tell me what you think! I'd love to hear your thoughts on any of the furniture makeovers, the Hogwarts mural, any of it! Thanks for reading along :)

GUYS. That's MARIE KONDO. As in "The Magic of Tidying Up" Queen of Organization, approving of the way I folded Bo's clothes! Ben and my reaction last night:
If that isn't a sign that it's time for Bo to show - I don't know what is :)
