Recently I showed you a little sneak peek of my latest backdrop - the dark Alice inspired painting:
After a lot of layers, the Cheshire Cat got a slightly creepier makeover, and details were added to bring out some of the most well known elements in Lewis Carroll's famous novel.
I painted the leaves to look like small hearts in honor of Miss "Off With His Head!". There's a couple dangling tea cups for our sweet Mad Hatter...
And finally, I scribbled out a quote from Carroll, "Imagination is the only weapon in the war against reality" multiple times in the rabbit hole.
Painting this backdrop was a ton of fun! A big thank you to Kristie Bradley Photography for commissioning this piece. Now it's available for anyone to rent out! Whether you want a funky photobooth backdrop, or you're having a less traditional wedding and want something unique to say your vows in front of - I'd love to chat with you!
