Welcome to our laundry room. The ugliest, messiest room in our house. We've never had a laundry room before now, so when we moved in I was really excited about the extra storage space. Unfortunately, storage tends to be a synonym for crap and, apparently, lots of paint buckets and cords.
I won't frighten you with the floor, because I like to create the illusion that I'm not someone who puts bags and bins full of paperwork and unnecessary items in a room no one sees. In order to keep up with that facade, I will now show you the progress I made today in making this room less stupid:
Still pretty scary, but it's getting there! I took out pretty much everything and stuck it into the hallway to organize/throw away and put in my super cute new storage containers, courtesy of ROSS. That top one is holding all the spray paint! I still have a long way to go but I'm feeling very inspired by Pinterest, especially these photos:
I'm a big fan of hiding stuff and I really want to paint the back wall and mount our little TV. Also, if you go to this link you can see a really cool bubble painting this girl, Melinda, did in her laundry room that I'm considering doing... It's awesome!
